What kind of a world are we living in when....

...God-fearing homosexuals can't even have a parade in which they dress provocatively (to say the least) and demand that the public watch their lewd sexual acts and displays that would be illegal for heterosexuals to commit in public, without the worry of people actually protesting it?
I mean, Jeez.
The first two paragraphs of the AFP story read:
Tens of thousands joined gay pride marches across Europe on Saturday but homophobics spoiled the party in the Czech Republic and Bulgaria where scores were arrested for disrupting events.Czech security forces were forced to intervene after right-wing extremists moved in on a parade in the country's second city Brno, leading to 15 arrests as tear gas was thrown, police said.
Not spinning a narrative there, now, are we?
Read on.
Look, the bottom line here is that, despite what the defenders of "homosexual equality" say when appealing both to the emotion and rationality of the larger population, this isn't about ending "homophobia" or allowing homosexuals to move up from being "second class citizens" to being full-share Americans; rather, the entire Pride and "Rights" movement is about forcing lewd displays of homosexuality down the throats of the mainstream public, and demanding that it not only be willingly accepted, but that such behavior be treated as being every bit as morally acceptable and positive for society as non-public heterosexual behavior is, both by the population and by government as a whole.
This is about forcing the general population to accept and endorse behavior that would be deviant no matter who did it, given the public nature of these displays and the lewd acts they contain.
Every one of these events and parades helps to delegitimize the sometimes rightful claims of good people who happen to be homosexual, by shoving these distasteful displays -- that would be such even if heterosexuals were engaging in them -- down the throats of ordinary people.
the chances a timely tourist has with the local straight women greatly improve when the most macho homophobes are distracted into disrupting the gay pride parades.
It's interesting that the Czech Republic has the largest percentage of self-described atheists in Europe but mostly have a good moral core across the board, which I would extend to include a sense of good taste about how much openmindedness really needs to be flaunted for mass consumption.

Some group would be having a parade in NYC. There were always far too many to track, you could just count on the fact somebody would be marching down fifth ave and or closing down the streets.
Anyway it was always quite the surprise when the Gay Pride parade would be happening. Public displays of affection would somehow manage to assume an obnoxious and challenging tone. Then there would be the dress. Forget about shopping trips with the kids. Forget about keeping lunch down.
It always brought up the old saw about violating community standards and NYC not having any. At just what point did free assembly morph into this.
I don't deny them their rights but they do this to deliberately upset and provoke. These aren't about their pride but about allowing them to stick fingers into everyone else's eyes. And yes when they invade churches and disrupt the ceremonies, I can say there is a pattern of behavior at work.

imagine the most realistic immediate consequences if sex in public were legalized tomorrow. You'll quickly see why you don't really want to join a nudist colony or a swingers' club; the odds are decidedly stacked against you seeing very many perfect bodies. Or souls.
A passing motorist offers help to some stranded people. Problem is they are nudists and not the kind you used to find in the films of my youth. (Attractive and Young)
The solution the car has a rear view camera so there is no need to worry about catching a glimpse.

because the new technology is a boon to driver safety and should rightfully be demanded as standard-issue in the future. I guess that's why I have to endure that ad so many times every day. Aren't we due for an equal-time female variation on the theme? After all, the characters are written from an editorial premise; the other half of America is waiting for their representative response. Very Fairness Doctrine, no? :)
I'm sure those who paraded down Fifth Ave. for deviant "rights" would not miss an opportunity to do something in front of St. Patrick's Cathedral.

would be to say "sticks and stones" (no pun/entendre intended) and remember that binding to the body of Christ by faith effectively makes them bulletproof in the most important ways.
I still really like Kathy Griffin and, while parts of a certain award acceptance speech might have been a little outside of wise counsel, I felt she did no more harm than those amplifying the backlash. Human minds and bodies are better off letting go of external agitation in such cases.
There are some things you just don't do. One is letting a mob of explicitly provokative, radical "deviant" types goad you into assuming the form of behavior they want you to use in responding to them. Avoid the town, city or college campus where these people are known to congregate to carry out their agitation and remember where most of their defenders come from (socialist-left academics, trial lawyers and dominant media figures) so you can minimize the amount of time you're forced to patronize their respective establishments. That's one reason I probably wouldn't subscribe to HBO or watch "popular" motion picture features any more.
The other thing I've learned years ago that I can now look back upon with hindsight is that the behavior of these "pride" parades resembles that of some of my peers during high school. I'd still be embarrassed today if I were to get caught cuddling up with a girlfriend in a hallway, but that's what these kids were doing. It was embarrassing enough then, as I was more or less passing the scene with a vague "Eww" going through my thoughts. Imagine having to dodge these grinning idiots!
Then again, I suspect, after having read a recent history of Russia, that it's an old Soviet-era plot that refuses to die. Uncle Joe must've seen all the wild mobs that rose amidst the arts crowd after the Revolution and came to the realization that encouraging such behavior amongst targeted capitalist nations would be a way to distract them from what was really coming their way...

40 years of Soviet rule and yet those Eastern Euros are 'right-wing extremists'.
Liberal MSM bias is much more extreme on cultural issues than on economic ones.
Why is that? Is it illegal to be a Christian and a journalist at the same time?
