The youngest brother of Democratic presidential candidate Dennis Kucinich was found dead at his home Wednesday.
Perry Kucinich, 52, was found face down by another brother, Larry, at about 9 a.m., said Powell Caesar, a spokesman for the Cuyahoga County Coroner's office.
There were no signs of foul play, Caesar said.
It is always difficult to lose a family member, and doubly so during the holiday season. Our condolences and best wishes for the Kuchinich family for their sudden bereavement.
First one was losing my maternal grandmother on Christmas Day exactly fifteen years ago. Second one was losing my favorite teacher during my high school years...on the same day! Christmas Day is supposed to be a time of joy, but in my case, it wasn't so joyous anymore.
I'm over with the losses, but the remembrance of loved ones will never ever go away...

May God grant them all comfort in the midst of their grief.
humanity toward our political opponents.
This is all too rare in the political blog world (or for that matter in the political world generally).
Thanks for posting this.

That in his heart of hearts, Dennis Kucinich is just fundamentally a decent man who has a very different view of how to arrive at his vision of a good society than I do. He doesn't have two heads, he doesn't spit fire, and when he loses a brother I'm sure it hurts him just as much as it does everyone else. He's the last person in the world I'd vote for as President (at least among the current group) but I think fundamentally he's a decent man, just one with the wrong set of tools through which to achieve his vision. In any case, I'm sorry to hear about his family's loss.
I admire Dennis. The man bankrupted Cleveland made a comeback and got to congress, got a hot wife who is a foot bigger then him, has run for President and made himself a hero in the peace movement. Even though me and Dennis are completely different people I can just tell he is a caring person. I think he loves America but and loves everyone in the world equally I feel for him and his family, especially losing a brother so young. Sometimes life is so unfair. It just makes you county you're luck stars for what you do have in the world.
I know from personal experience this is the very worst time of year to lose a loved one.
You may not be interested in war, but war is interested in you.
