At what point will GW hysterics be seen as the people they really are? I Predict it will be fairly soon, the more we hear about people like this.

This is in Australia, so it doesn't have much to do with here and now, but it is a good example of what I think is going on.

1) Take any aspect of society that you dislike. In this case I imagine that "Professor Michael Prather from the University of California" might have a problem with watching television or something.

2) Use scientific nomenclature to add credibility to your position, and count on the fact that nobody knows what you are talking about but will respond to doom and gloom rhetoric.

3) Use BIG SCARY numbers but add the caveat that nobody really knows for sure what is actually happening, because nobody has actually looked.

4) Only admit to point #3 in the last sentence of your article.

P.S. For added fun, read the comments. Even the people who disagree with the article use AGW buzz-words to defend their point. Kinda Scary.
