Drudge - Obama's boy or Operation Chaos?

I came across this story on Politico re: Matt Drudge Keeps Campaign's guessing.
Its unusual to not see an article about Drudge (critical or otherwise) on Drudge, so I figured I'd send him the link and who'da thunk: it showed up a few hours later. I like to think it was I (and only I) that brought it to his attention....
Interesting article. Read it yourself, but basically the underlying themes are:
-Drudge is driving the news cycle against Hillary/Bill and effectively tossing them under the bus.
-Drudge is tacitly supporting Obama by neglecting damaging stories - the equivalent of which he's trumpeted with flashing sirens for Bill/Hillary.
-McCain's staff are wooing Drudge, but he's no friend to McCain's campaign, pointing out his age and controversies, while neglecting any positives.
Key Quotes:
"Matt Drudge has upended the conventional wisdom that he and his powerful online vehicle are stalwarts of the conservative message machine."
"It’s clear to us that Barack Obama has won the Drudge Primary, and it's one of the most important primaries in this process,” conceded a senior aide to Hillary Rodham Clinton"
I seriously doubt he's in the pocket for Obama and think Drudge is simply a good businessman. As the article notes elsewhere:
"He’s interested in what brings people to the site — and Obama is a great box office,”
and again elsewhere:
“I think he is fatigued by Clinton, I think he is invigorated by Obama,” said one person who knows Drudge. “He would say that the Obama story is new. If you’re somebody who does what he does, you get really sick of the same stories.”
I'll buy that. I'm sick of the Clinton's myself. Its time to start muckraking on a whole new generation of Libs.
going to back Obama. He was linked to the Romney campaign and since McCain beat him has become very much against the GOP.
he will continue to support obama..
"Small town folks get bitter after which they cling to guns or religion, or antipathy to people who aren't like them, or anti-immigrant sentiment"- Barack Carter Obama

That is priority #1 for him. Where Clinton to become President, wouldn't Drudge be #1 on the Clinton revenge list?
After Hillary's defeat, there is no doubt in my mind that he will pounce on Obama. There is also no doubt that his "support" of McCain is tepid and relational (e.g. better than they other guy) at best.
The conclusions above are based on my frequent listening to his radio show.
