The Return of John Kerry and his Magic Hat
Magic Hat FTW!

Over the weekend, in response to T. Boone Pickens' $1 Million challenge, John Kerry has reported for duty once again: this time, to prove that something the Swift Boat Veterans said in their 2004 ad campaign was wrong. Wrong, I say!
You can read the letters between Pickens and Kerry, and more on the changing etymology of the "swiftboating" term. But I am really looking forward to Kerry's efforts, considering they might finally give us all a chance to see that famous hat.
But to be honest, I kinda suspect Kerry's case is going to come down to a bunch of clippings from The New York Times.

Indeed. T. Boone is nothing if not a gambling man, though, and I think he'll make sure the stakes are met.
You'll notice that his staff apparently found out about the challenge from us and American Thinker.
tell us how it feels for a smart, swell guy like you to lose the election for the President of the United States of America, and all the power and immortality that the position entails, to the likes of George Bush.
Gut wrenching?
Good!

After all, everyone knows that Mr. Spielberg was the stage-manager when he initially "Reported for Duty" at the DNC convention.
Now, Spielberg definitely knows a thing or two about making war movies, and it looks to me like he's up for a sequel. And frankly nobody should discount his filmic prowess or his adaptability: if this doesn't work, Kerry might yet show up as the J.F.K., The Extraterrestrial.

And frankly the Good Senator is the pilot of the schip. Barak O'Bama is just the copilot for Dreamwerks.

That exchange of letters was outstanding. If you didn't click it, you should.
I had put up the mil.

Boone's return letter probably is why we haven't heard much about this in recent days: Kerry won't put up $1mil.
I am waiting for the Jerry Springer version, where Kerry is on stage and they bring in the SWIFT vets for a mano-a- mano. My guess is Kerry walks away with more than rice in his backside.
Kerry really should just come clean, his lies and nonsense are only believed by Bill, Hillary (I bet that's only in public, I mean can't ya just hear them sharing a rare private moment chortling at his fake pretentious, elitist mannerisms) and a ridiculous collection of people that can't read.
Honestly John, everyone knows what you did (or didn't do for that matter). Just let it go and admit it.
By the way, I am going long on T-man.

Pickens delivered the stopper in his reply:
"In order to disprove the accuracy of the Swift Boat ads, I will ultimately need you to provide the following:
1) The journal you maintained during your service in Vietnam.
2) Your military record, specifically your service records for the years 1971-1978, and copies of all movies and tapes made during your service.
I bet all we hear from Teresa's hubby is more dissembling and lame excuses. And no, he won't pay up either. That would be a defacto admission of guilt.

"Swiftboating" is apparently the new attack word for the Democrats. Apparently, every generation or so the Dems have to gripe about a new Republican campaign that defeated them recently. The GOP campaign is never considered fair - only Democratic attacks like "cutting Social Security to throw old people out into the streets" are fair and allowed by Dem referees.
This is nothing more than the updated version of the Democrats "Willie Horton" complaint.

I suspect you are right, but T. Boone won't pay out on evidence that flimsy.
