Be sure to read my friend Doug Heye's column in the Politico about the race war in the Democratic Party. Doug worked for Michael Steele, so he appreciates the heavy dose of irony in the Democrats' race baiting internally.
About the debate last night: Hollywood is undecided too. You'd think given the way Hollywood works, they wouldn't want to give any role to a aged female, unless they're casting her in the sequel to Mrs. Doubtfire or bringing back Maude.
Also, Nate Beeler has this great cartoon in the Examiner today where you can also check out Tim Carney's piece on McCain vs. Hillary on earmarks. By the way, Mark Tapscott thinks McCain is Alcibiades.
By the way, Rick Santorum will be making his endorsement today on Laura Ingraham's show. I bet it's not for McCain (HINT: I bet it rhymes with Writ Momney). Stick around and listen to the first troll ever appointed Secretary of State, Madeline Albright, try to defend Hillary Clinton.

Virginia was not a matter of insufficient resources. It was about an inept campaign that allowed a single gaffe to define the remainder of the race. Post-macaca there wasn't a single word in the race about even a single issue. I lived in DC at the time and saw the ads. All Allen did after macaca was make weak attacks on Webb for his novels, and other personal issues. There was no mention more mention of Iraq, the war, anything. Incredibly, Allen didn't even mention gay marriage - which was on the ballot that year in VA. Allen was for the marriage amendment, Webb was against it. Allen got 49% of the vote, the amendment was up at 55%.
Money wasn't going to help George Allen. He had plenty of money to get his message out - the problem was that his message turned to mush. We'd have been better off trying to save Jim Talent in Missouri.

is going to tell us who is a winner.
I and a lot of other conservatives dumped a lot of money into his campaign based on the hype of talk radio about how he was in the race.
He was not even close.
More dollars into Virginia could have saved the Senate.
His useless endorsement, along with Sean's piping off, shows me that the talk radio media is not any different at all from the agenda driven lefty media.
If Romney thinks getting Santorum on board is going to help him, he is just wasting more of his fortune.
