How's that head feeling this morning?  It's rough, isn't it?  Almost makes you regret last night.  Assuming you remember anything that happened last night in the first place.  That much green beer will do that to you.  But don't worry, you found some way to make it home safe in the wee hours of the morning and that's something, now isn't it.

My first instinct was to fire off an email to Congressman Knollenberg's press staff asking if they'd already scheduled a party to celebrate the news.  So I did.  I'll let you know if I ever hear back but I'll admit up front that I don't expect I'll ever receive a reply.

Though an end to the Gary Peters Congress or Campus battle remains elusive it looks this morning as if this particular chapter in the Dennis Lennox saga is drawing to a troubling close.  At least as far as Central Michigan University is concerned.

Below you will find documents obtained by Right Michigan indicating that a top secret, back room closed-door disciplinary hearing was held while students were away on spring break.  Though Lennox was convicted of a variety of offenses he was not given the chance to present a defense or to even answer the charges against him.  Heck, he didn't even know the hearing had taken place, where it was or who attended.

And then there was one.  You think she wishes she'd never given up that fancy-pants $80,000 a year taxpayer funded gig prepping Daniel Granholm Mulhern for his all-but-dead radio career?  I know HE wishes she'd never left.  Maybe he wouldn't have flopped that badly if she'd stuck around a little while longer.

Former lefty radio starlet, chief of staff of the money pit that is the Office of the First Gentleman and all-around liberal dream gal Nancy Skinner announced yesterday that she is pulling the plug on her second bid for Congress, clearing the way for yoooooooouuuuuuuur (former) Lottery Commissioner, Gary Peters.  Although, in fairness, that particular gig is well in Peters' past.  He's been moonlighting as a full-time professor up at Central Michigan University hundreds of miles away from his district these past many months.

MORNING UPDATE:

I’m heading down to Southfield today to our Lithuanian parish, Divine Providence, where the Lithuanian-American Community will be commemorating Lithuania’s Independence Day. Congressmen Joe Knollenberg and Thaddeus McCotter will be there as well.

Ooops!!! Friday I addressed over 50 ladies who gathered at the Birmingham Women’s Republican Club...not the Bloomfield Hills club. Sorry ladies…I got all flustered.

268 Days until Election Day

MORNING UPDATE:

Gary Peters - If we can’t trust him now, why should he be trusted in Congress? See below.

NATIONAL CONVENTION DELEGATE UPDATE: Individuals seeking election from one of the Congressional districts won by Governor Romney (2-5, 7-15), or individuals seeking election as an at-large delegate or alternate for a position previously allocated to Governor Romney should file a presidential preference form indicating they are a committed Romney delegate OR uncommitted. By virtue of Governor Romney suspending his campaign and in accordance with Rule 19E, those individuals will automatically become uncommitted and will be free to vote for any candidate on all ballots at the National Convention.
