For the This Primary Is Made Out Of Awesome files: via the Huffington Post we see that MoveOn.org is absolutely adamant that Senator Obama filibuster the FISA bill this week. How awesome is it?
It's awesome enough that I'm reprinting the whole post after the fold. That's how awesome it is. You see, I want progressives to email the Senator and demand that he filibuster: he'll either not do so, and thus betray them further; or he'll cave to them, which will embarrass the Democratic Party at the very moment that they need to show Unity.
And either way, the FISA bill still passes. That's because the progressives don't have the votes to stop it, even if Harry Reid wasn't owned by Mitch McConnell (who looks increasingly likely to be keeping his seat, after all). As he is... well. This should be entertaining.
Well. At least for people who, you know, matter.

By Katharine Q. SeelyeGeraldine Ferraro has left Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton’s finance committee, saying that Senator Barack Obama’s campaign was twisting her words to make her appear racist and that this was hurting Mrs. Clinton, a campaign official confirmed after CNN reported the development.
Mrs. Ferraro had told a newspaper that “If Obama was a white man, he would not be in this position.”
I've been meaning to mention this, by the way: if every criticism of Senator Barack Obama is going to be responded to in racialist terms by his campaign, then the term best used to describe him and his wouldn't be Hope and Change.
Try Business As Usual, instead.

Chris Matthews, holder of the opinion that New Englanders didn't vote for Obama because they hate black people, is under attack by Media Matters, holders of whatever opinion is currently uppermost in George Soros' noggin. The charge?
Using overtly sexist language, [Chris Matthews] has referred to Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton (D-NY) as a "she devil" and compared her to a "strip-teaser." He has called her "witchy" and likened her voice to "fingernails on a blackboard." He has referred to men who support her as "castratos in the eunuch chorus." He has suggested Clinton is not "a convincing mom" and said "modern women" like Clinton are unacceptable to "Midwest guys." He has called her "Madame Defarge" and "Nurse Ratched."

There were also some bits about women governors, Pelosi, Hoyer, and castration - but, really, it was all about paying back Matthews for getting too upset over the way his nice, clean canonization of Senator Obama got rudely interrupted by objective reality.
